Terminal Meden Rudnik

One of the main components of the project is the reconstruction and expansion of the terminal 'Meden Rudnik' as an undivided part of the concept of Bus Rapid Transit line (BRT) and optimization of the transport scheme of the city. According to the proposed solutions to the conceptual design and further made

research, that formed a final decision for the realization of the technical project 'Reconstruction and expansion of the terminal 'Meden Rudnik', situated on the site of the so-called'reversal of the last stops on the trolley'.

The space around the terminal building and around bus stops is designed to provide quality service to the passengers and their safety, also including: 
  • Good lighting of the area;
  • Video surveillance;
  • Landscaping and planting;
  • Accessible environment for people with disabilities and mothers with children.

The project design includes a new situation decision in accordance with the technical design; moving and reconstruction of the trolleybus network for the formation of the new space of the terminal; replacement of the existing building with a new one; situating a new end bus stop for BusRapid Transit line; providing parking spaces for waiting buses and trolley buses. 

The existing pedestrian access and service levels of the main streets in all directions are retained.
